Platform Overview
Discotive is a unified career growth engine. It is not a job board and it is not limited to any one industry — it is built for anyone building a career: filmmakers, editors, developers, designers, marketers, musicians, writers, athletes, and every domain in between.
What is Discotive
Discotive combines a verified credential store (the Vault), a competitive global ranking system (the Leaderboard), a professional social layer (Connective), and a single numeric reputation signal called the Discotive Score that grows as you do real, verifiable work.
Where a resume is a static document you show once, your Discotive profile updates continuously — every verified asset, every consistency streak, every alliance, and every domain-relevant action contributes to a live, comparable signal of momentum.
Who it's for
- Individuals building a professional track record in any domain — students, freelancers, full-time operators, and career switchers.
- Brands, studios, and institutions that want a public presence and a way to identify verified talent through Brand Pages.
- Anyone who wants proof of work to matter — vault assets are reviewed by a human verification process, not self-reported.
How scoring works
The Discotive Score is a single running number attached to your account. It moves up when you take verifiable actions and can move down in a small number of well-defined cases (for example, disconnecting a previously verified integration). The exact point values for each action are intentionally not published as fixed constants here because they are tuned over time for platform health — the mechanics and categories are documented in Feature Overview → Scoring.
Every score change is logged with a reason and timestamp. You can see exactly why your score moved from the score history on your Dashboard — there is no hidden or unexplained scoring.
